These cats have really beautiful, thick double coats and lovely, large paws you will notice right away. They are impressive animals, large and attractive, but also very friendly, loving and playful. All in all, their behavior is quite different from the behavior you are used to see when it comes to cats. And that's what makes them so interesting.

Medium to large, with lovely looking medium long double coats, these extraordinary creatures are highly attractive. You will instantly recognize males, because they are really significantly larger than females. Both females and males are really beautiful, friendly, playful and nice, and you will positively enjoy spending time in their company.

There are several beautiful color variations to choose from. They come in different shades of caramel, cinnamon and chocolate, bicolor, Tabby tricolor and color pointed. Exes can be in different colors, but color pointed variation, as well as white and van patterned, must have blue eyes. It's not so easy to choose your favorite here, because all these nuances look amazingly lovely.

This is really a very old breed, and it used to live only in Russia, in the area called Siberia. That's how they got their name. This is one very cold area to live in, and that is probably the reason their coat is so thick and resistant, but also soft and silky. Undercoat is especially soft, just like their gentle nature. These amusing cats enjoy playing with other animals, and, unlike other cats, enjoy spending time with children and even chasing ball.

Considering the coat quality, grooming will take some time. The coat has to be brushed regularly, to avoid tangling. Twice a year, Siberians change their hair, and more frequent brushing might be a good idea. You should also check the ears for wax. If this wax is not removed, it might cause the infection. Other than that, you won't have to worry about your cat's health, because Siberians are really healthy animals.

Feeding is quite simple, if you buy really good quality cat food full of required nutrients. They will appreciate if you follow the schedule and feed them always at the same time of the day. Young kittens should get the same food they are used to, to avoid digestion problems. If you want to change their food, you have to do this little by little, to give them a chance to adapt.

There are so many unusual things related to these lovely animals. One of those things is a fact that they mature extremely slow, and become adults at the age of five or so, unlike any other cat. They live long, happy and healthy lives, and, considering the price, your breeder should issue a health certificate for a kitten. Enjoy spending time with your new, extraordinary kitten.
